Hope your all well out there! Its really quiet at home charlotte has gone off to the olympics as a spectator on a programme for the potential london olympic squad and mark my words she will be there come hell or high water! she is one of the most driven people i know if she wants it she just goes and gets it so good luck to her out there.

Well as i say theres not alot going on at home except for a few tired eyes, staying up to watch the olympics is well worth it, im a proud friend and a patriotic supporter of all our teams, our ponies are all looking very well a few easy days has done them no harm and in preparation for the nationals the prunning and preening is about to start all over again so god help them! all these little jobs like tail pulling and whisker shaving make me feel like a beautician! every duckling can be turned into a swan with a little bit of effort and some hoof oil, we are so lucky to have such a dedicated team every one pulls their weight no one person is responsible even down to a bit of colgate minty fresh and a toothbrush,please do not try that at home it was a joke!

Carl is a real softy but just dont let him know i told you that! as if we are not in undated with kittens and chickens he has managed to find a duck that had its wing broken by a dog and decided to try and save it! so off fifi went to the vets with it to see if they could help  needless to say they suggested rest and would we be interested in taking in a few more wildlife rescue cases NO!!!!! was the answer we have enough to deal with.

The gypsies have arrived at the top of the lane again with there ponies they are very nice peaple and there ponies look very happy grazing the grass verges, but it does create a few problems for us as we try to look like proffesionals riding past with our brave steeds but as we all know dressage horses are not the bravest either that or they are just snobs as they seem to have taken great exception to walking past the ponies it as if these hairy old cobs are going to jump out and eat them and unfortuantly the stallions think this is hilarious and are open to offers!!!
