Charlotte has trained and worked for Carl for since February 2007. She left school at the age of 16 and after achieving much success pony showing – including winning the Horse of the Year Show four times and Hickstead three times – she went to work for Judy Harvey for four years. At the beginning of 2007 she came to Carl for some lessons and he asked her to help out for 10 days and she never left after that.

Charlotte has also achieved a great deal with her own horse Fernandez, he was reserve Advanced Medium Champion in 2007 and together they have been selected to join the Equine Pathway Team for talented and promising young horses.  Charlotte also rides Carl's own horse Valegro and Clare Crocker’s Winston Bond.

On her days off Charlotte admits to enjoying a lot of sleeping plus socializing when she gets a chance.

Katie joined the team in June 2009. She is 21 years old and before working with Carl, previously worked for her father followed by 6 months at Talland where she attained her PTT and Stage 4 exams.

Katie enjoyed many successes at Junior FEI Level and has represented Great Britain in no less than 13 Internationals, including the Europeans in 2005 and 2006.

In her free time she enjoys sleeping, shopping and seeing friends when given the chance!

Claudine has worked as Carl’s personal assistant for the last six years.  Originally from Jersey, Claudine left the Island in 2000 to work on his yard but after two years and a child later she was seconded to the office side where she currently takes charge of anything and everything behind the scenes. 

Dealing with everything from all the correspondence, entries, paying the bills to even doing the shopping (if she has to!)

Olivia has joined Carls team recently.  She originally came for two weeks training in July 2009 and was lucky enough to be asked to stay on as his working pupil.

At the age of 12, Olivia represented Great Britain in Holland on her pony, May Frizzante. She has also qualified twice for the National Championships at Elementary and Medium Levels.  Olivia has produced her current horse, Donna Summer, herself and now bases the horse at Carls with the intention of competing at the Junior Championships next year.

Fiona joined the team in February 2008 for the Sunshine Tour in Spain and has not looked back since.

Fiona has worked with horses since leaving school and used to do a lot of hunting and Team Chasing. She also carried out stud work for Willie Carson.

Fiona started working with dressage horses about three yers ago - 'for a quiet life!' In her spare time she enjoys catching up with friends.

Bred by Kate Carter (by accident), Dexter's dad is a Rottweiler and mum a tiny Jack Russell. He made it into the national papers and appeared on breakfast TV as a puppy. Now 10 years old and a much loved character.

Squash's mum got run over while she was pregnant, hence the name! Being part of Carl's doggy entourage was never enough for Squash who wanted exclusive love and attention. Always devoted to Catherine, and after following her car down the drive many times, he now officially belongs to Catherine.

They certainly weren't supermodels when they arrived, these rescued battery hens are now strutting their stuff around the yard and garden and laying eggs again.

 The ducks arrived in 2008 and are noisy and very entertaining.

Named after famous gangsters these cats have their eye on the chickens not bank rolls! They have quickly become yard favourites.
